ISO files are a great way to store many files of a bif programs in a single file. If we compare the ISO file with ZIP or RAR, the advantage of ISO image files is that can be mounted as virtual DVD/CD-ROM so you can run a setup process.
ISO files have smaller file size and similar files have extensions like CUE, BIN, NRG.
When you want to access the content of an ISO file, most likely you need to setup a program or a game. Also, the operating systems come as ISO files. To open ISO files you need a special program to “mount” it, basically will make it to look and behave like a CD/DVD-ROM – of course, is a virtual one
1. Using Daemon Tools
The Lite version is free and is enough to make the installation of your program.
Install it and open the program. Then choose Mount and select the ISO (CUE, BIN ..) file. After the mounting, you can access its content like a DVD or CD-ROM.
Also, you can double-click directly the ISO file.
